I think I paid around 15k for my 05 4x4 slt h.o. v8 quad cab with around 45k miles, there were some for less but I am really picky about scratches and dings and this one was perfect and had the h.o. v8 so i went with it. Also since it was a one owner vehicle it qualified to have the 7 year 70k factory power train warranty transfered over to me. You may want to check if you are the 2nd owner and if so transfer power train warranty over to yourself I think you have 30 - 60 days to do so after your purchase. I forget how much it is but it is worth the piece of mind knowing you have 2 more years and 20k miles of power train warranty.

Yeah at first I was worried it was a little high, I know I'm sure there are better deals but after a few weeks of looking it was the best I could find with what I wanted. It is in excellent shape, no scratches, dings dents etc. It's flawless. I'm the third owner so the warranty won't transfer unfortunately. I found on for 12K but it had 121,000 miles and was just an ST. Maybe because I'm out in California and here we have fee's for everything!!!

Adding all the options that came with my Dakota the bluebook was $13,950 for good condition which is what it came to before taxes and licensing fees. In excellent condition which according to KBB it is in it's bluebook for private party was $14,600 and for a dealer was $16,600. So I feel ok. I'm just happy to have it!
