Default Ram Air Hood Scoop

Hey guys, I've seen a few of you on here that have either a hood with a ram air scoop built in or some pretty clean looking bolt on scoops. I looked around a little bit and the only thing I could find was a steel bolt on that cost over $600. Seemed quite outrageous. First, since I've have seen a few different styles; any of you that have hood scoops (preferably functional or at least can be) if you can post a pic and some details on price, difficulty of install and overall opinion; that would be great. Also, even though I think the look is awesome, can anyone tell me what advantages or gains can one see from adding ram air with a cai? Thanks and I look forward to your pics. Happy Holidays guys!

$600? I think you could probably order a functional fiberglas hood/scoop combo for that price.

blown used to have a functional ram air setup and I think trucky and ericemery have functional scoops. Rengnath made a slick ram air set up pulling air from under the bumper with a full write up on the install. One thing I can't figure out, for a ram air setup using a hood scoop, how do you keep water out of the intake when it rains?? lol
