get what for cheaper? the cams? idk EBAY? saw some on there the other day for like 200 shipping included! so check ebay out!

no go on ebay...but it works out to 280 for the cams, 249 for the 08 manifold, and 239.50 for the throttle body adapter when you bundle them all together

yeah yeah...don't remind me...i'll probably end up getting one after i port the heads...still trying to find an engine shop around charleston that can do that kinda work.

Just buy the girlfriend a few games for that WII, and while shes distracted just order some CNC ported heads .... whats an extra grand or two? Lol.

What would you think of some ross 11:1 compression pistons, scat H beam rods, and a forged crankshaft?

Ported heads, and a set of KRC Cams, round about the ones with 218/218 duration, Heavy springs, an upgraded intake and throttle body, with the dual friction clutch.

This is the way that I was thinking of going eventually...gotta get the most out of the warranty first though.

Bruno that sounds good but if you can find a forged 4.7L crankshaft please let me know as I haven't seen one in stock anywhere in about a year. One day down the road I will go totally forged and up my boost to around 20 psi.
