Yeah, just messing with you. As long as it sounds good, thats all that matters. All I know is I would never run a truck with a straight exhaust like some do. You can make it sound 100x better with a muffler, and here are perfect examples of some that done cause much, if any restriction.

Sweet, Thanks for the pics, I was kinda hoping that it would be that type of muffler.

Yeah ones like that absorb sound still, not near as much as others, but some, essentially an oversized glasspack!

They don't cause much restriction, but some as the little bumps in the sides cause turbulence, and the turbulence causes some reduction to flow. I just hope that it has a similar pop to the ram's glasspacks, I love a midrange pop, not so much a deep rumble like the flowmasters. I do love the borla's as they give a deep pop that is quieter (But lets not get on the whole mess that I got into with borla on their dakota kit)

I have to say that back when I pulled the 318, and then got it reinstalled, I started it without the glasspacks hooked up at 3am, it woke the neighbors up...with the exhaust on it doesn't wake them up too often.

I will try to get some pics out, but Ill have to borrow a camera, or they will be taken with a cellphone, and won't be that great.

On a side note, does any one know where I can get a replacement panel for the E-brake release, the one on my truck was gone when I bought it, broken off. I cant find one anywhere.

Fedex rocks! Once you get the stocker off, the new one will bolt up nice and easy. Just dont open the box on carpet or anything; the pipes may have some oil from the bending/cutting process; mine did. In fact, the system made my truck exhaust smell funny for a few weeks while the new system broke in.

Well guys all that I really want to say is that I am less than impressed, disappointed in fact.

For being a system that is supposed to not require drilling/welding, that was a crock, or my frame missed getting some holes put in at the factory.

When I first started it, I was like WTF, it was QUIETER THAN MY STOCK. It is getting louder, but really quiet, even when you get on it. It has the sound you get when the guy three cars in front of you has a good exhaust, and you have your windows rolled up, you can hear it, but it is all quiet, and goofy sounding.

The other issue is that the driver side exit, is WAY TOO CLOSE TO The body. Every time I get out, I have to push it down, or it is hitting the fender.

Yes I twisted and turned adjusted and effed with, and after hours of cussing, just welded the damn mounts that they send with the kit that are supposed to go in holes that aren't there, and said to hell with it I am going to bed.

Tomorrow, Ill take it by the muffler shop and have them put a bend in the driver side rear pipe, to get it to go down a little.

Then the next thing that make me nervous is that the pipe going over the axle to get to the drivers side goes between the shock axel and frame, and has a half an inch of clearance to the shock.

All that I got to say so far about it is that this exhaust is a joke maybe I got a bum kit, one with bends not quite right. But good grief at an MSRP of 850, I would think that it would fit right. The only thing that it really has going for it is that it is stainless.

And wtf is with having THREE mufflers on stock. Good grief. I never really looked under the truck before, but that was ridiculous!

Plus on top of that I got in the house to find that the dog had pissed all over the couch. So this afternoon was just the berries as I think you all can tell!

Oh did I mention that it was 19 degrees outside while doing this install.

There is only 1 muffler (the long round one), the others are resonators. Sorry your having issues, perhaps a call to the company is in order??

I watched the exhaust shop bolt mine up and the only tools they used were a torch and an impact. Theres a hole to mount the drivers side exhaust pipe in the frame. Did you possibly miss it and thats why its not lining up right? I had to loosen up the clamps a few times and even out the exits but now its all good.

And it does get louder as it breaks in, and dont worry; its louder outside the truck. My truck is deafening to any car next to it if I redline it.
