how do these big bastards get 12.3 mpg and im only about 2-3 mpg higher than that with my small truck lol

yep, pre emmissions diesels get some awsome power and fuel milage, especially it you tinker with the fuel systems the correct way, for instance my 75 power wagon with the cummins transplant, sitting on about 12" of lift, gets about 20-25 mpg's, and has enough power to scare the **** out of most people

Ive heard some diesels that have made me want to cream my jeans .... especially some of the turbos. I would never mess with a diesel .... Ive seen them eat tuner Neon SRT-4s and Subaru WRXs for breakfest. The torque they put to the ground makes them insanely fast!

oh, ya... i love the sound of my diesels, cammed up, breathing through twin turbos and 5" exhaust, at about 70psi of boost, they really start to sound wild

Nothing beats diesel. International motors Are junk though.( powerstrokes) if cat made a pickup engine paired to an Allison I'd buy it in a heartbeat
