Getting Pushed Around???

My Dakota is very sensitive to wind and road crowning. If I drive on the right, it pulls right. Drive on the left (country roads), and it pulls left. Alignment is in spec. I'm always giving a bit of left-correction. It's pretty annoying really, because the wheel is constantly pulling, trying to return to center.
I'm of the opinion that our trucks' front end geometry just isn't that well designed. It's undersprung, underdamped, and the steering geometry (remember, this was the first rack+pinion Dodge truck, if I recall correctly) is just not quite ideal. It works, but it lacks refinement.
My tires don't wear unevenly, and on a wide flat road, the truck tracks straight for a long time. It's just very sensitive to the most minor of road imperfections.
Chevy has been doing IFS for a long time, so I would expect theirs to be the best on the road (and this is what I've always heard).
