Default My hybrid cai !!

Hello:

Here's my CAI, I call it hybrid because because it consist in a system the one from Chore Intakes and Blinglights.
It sound slightly less than Chrome Intake alone, but I know it receive fresh air.

where is the other end going? where is it getting air from? am i seing some carbon fiber there at the business end?? take a pic of that too....looks good except for the dryer duct section....thats not good for laminar air flow...

You would see a higher performance gain if you eliminated the corrogated section. This will create a tumbled airflow, which will restrict mass volume flow through the corrogated section. Other than that, I like the crome section.

I agree with Donkey, but still looks good & great concept. Just pipe it out and you will be good to go.

hmmm why would the black part be causing restrictin...is it because the WAVE and not smooth effect?

Looks great! Where is the air inlet? Guess keeping the stock box like you were going to try was too much trouble. I think a couple more pics are needed though.

Tomorrow I will add the other curved aluminum pipe end, to minimize the flexible.

looks like a carbon fiber shield around the whole filter...that helping anymore then stock box since its incased?
