Default PCV Valve

Has anyone changed the PCV Valve on their 4.7? According to the service manual sticky it should be on the oil filler neck. I looked all around mine yesterday for about 10 minutes and I don't see one ANYWHERE! I got a little frustrated with it because I think its right in front of my face but I'm just too blind to see it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

do a search, there was a thread about it a few months back, they had a mid year design change in 06 or 07 and moved it to the drivers side rear of the engine.

That's what I was looking for, but I didn't see it. If you're looking at the filler neck from the front of the truck what side of the filler neck would it be on? Front, left side, right side, or back? I looked all around my filler neck and didn't see a thing. As far as I can see my filler neck is smooth as silk with nothing plugged into it. Like I said I could just be a retard too! I'll look again tomorrow or wednesday when the sun is out.

no, it's not on the filler neck on yours, it's on the drivers side head, rear of the engine

your lucky it's not on the filler neck. It's mounted sideways which does not operate very well in my opinion....
