Default Tail lights and 3rd brake light painted

okay well here are pictures...could not get to the headlights today because my brother did not bring me the bulbs so i'm waiting to take out the headlights until i have the bulbs so i dont have to take them out again! but heres the rears and 3rd!

dang they look dark. how many coats? did you tape off any so the brake/backup will shine through?

i did 4 coats...and 3 coats of clear and yes i ddi i taped off the brake light and reverse lenses for that exact reason! oh and the 3rd brake light only did 2 coats with 3 coats of clear!

cant wait to see the pics. I want to do mine the same way cause I'm afraid they would fail inspection if I did the whole light.

yeah thats why i did mine the way i did! cause i dont want the brake lights to be dull at all so if i get rear ended someone could say oh well his brake lights were dim thats why i didn't see it till the last minute! so thats why i taped off the front part facing rear along with the side part that shows...but everything else is blacked out...and the 3rd brake light has only 2 coats...so its darker but will still show the brake light!

Lookin good! I would nightshade my taillights, but since I already have a red truck; they blend in just fine. Lol.

make them curve more....and i have to say I admire your tastes in front license plates....
