Another TM Leveling kit question...
actually taking the sway bar off was probably the cheapest best suspension mod ive done on my dakota.
try mounting a curb or hitting a speed bump at an angle. than once your out of the hospital with your neck brace. take off the sway bar and try it again.
also works wonders off roading. makes the truck much more stable and smooth

Do you notice any more body roll when taking turns at high speeds? I would love to just take that thing off, but I dont want to end up rolling my truck .... and then find out that insurance wont cover it because the OEM suspension was tampered with. Lol

leave the rear on. Yes there is some added body roll on sharp corners. freeway on ramps and high speed lane changes dont feel much of a difference. and even with body roll....its gunna be hard to roll a truck unless your going 75 into a hairpin....but than why would you own a truck and not a sports car.
to experiment, just zap the links loose and go for a drive. i removed the whole assembly. uneven terrain and crappy paved roads dont even affect me now lol

NOTE: Now it's time to order ust the Leveling Kit
Haha, this will be something I try when it gets warmer. Ive had all 4 wheels sliding on an on ramp on dry pavement before, so Ill just take my truck there again with the sway bar disconnected.
Before I die trying this though; I would like to say a few words:
Dear Dodge Forum,
If I die, speed testing my swaybar-less front end truck to determine its stability, I would first like to apoligize for my mental instability.
I would also like my truck to go to someone who will drive it how it should be driven. For example: it should be at 100% throttle 98.5% of the time, it should always be polished but never afraid to get dirty, along with always have the oil changed at 2500 miles because that is my way of giving back to something that I drive hard, and to never turn down a race to a Honda Civic with a V-tec because even if I cant beat the P.O.S. tuner, I want to show him that I CAN keep up with him and to prove I have the ***** to go 105 in a 40 MPH speed zone after he's on the brakes after the first 500 yrds.
I hope someone like me will take this 4x4 "not so beasty V8" truck out in a severe snow storm, and only use 2wd .... not to conserve gas but just because seeing how long you can get the truck going sideways down a street is fun and exciting. And even if I spent all my money this month on my truck payment, insurance, a case of PBR, and a girl that will never answer another one of my phone calls after tonight, that I will still go out crusing on the fumes of the 93 octane fuel that was once in my tank to provide an extra 18hp, and when I run out of gas with the blonde in the passanger seat I will play if off cool like "I meant to do that." This is all I ask. Thank you and God bless. Amen.
