Hendrixx, if you are unsure if you have an open diff or lsd, go to your dodge dealership and get a vehicle build sheet. It will tell you. Otherwise, if you have an lsd...and you go to install your powertrax, you may be disappointed when you have to stab the cover back on and fill it with synthetic fluid again.

I think in my glove box it says 3.55 LSD Diff. But I didnt need to read that to figure it out. Just stand on the brakes and gun it ..... maybe use some bleach for your mudders though If you see 2 tire tracks when youre done, then you will know.

i no when i gun it or get stuck or do burnouts i spin one tire. and i thought it actualy said lsd because i no money mans sais lsd

Just googled it. The LD stands for Light Duty. Looks like you infact have an open diff.

Or just lift the rear of the truck. If the tires spin in the same direction has limited slip or locker... if they spin opposite of each other, its open. Spinning the tires is more fun!
