aka "lunch locker" (named cause they were easy enough to install on a lunchbreak)
They were really big in the Jeep world for a while as it just replaces the spiders and keeps the factory carrier. Also there's no need for resetting/reshimming the R&P since they are not changed.
You will possibly/probably need to remove the ring gear from the carrier to get it installed, (so mark its orientation before removal) Other then that they're fairly easy to install.
They hold up well for light to moderate wheeling.

Like Ueland said, they are big in the jeep world, had one in my jeep. Just be careful when going around corners in the snow and rain because they can get you sideways quick. They are easy to install and you dont have to remove carrier atleast in my jeep I didnt.
Now, Richmond Gear makes this locker in 2 styles, the Lock-right and the No-slip. The No-slip is suppose to be a little more street friendlier then the other. Here are the 2 different ones at summitracing.com

Hendrixx, be aware that if you have the factory lsd (trac-loc) you will NOT be able to use this lunchbox locker...it requires the carrier from an open differential. If you currently have the factory lsd, then go with a detroit locker, as you will have to remove the entire diff anyway.
If you currently have an open diff (like me, but not for long) then you will be fine. It sucks because your 9.25" rear powertrax is $100 cheaper than the 8.25" powertrax for my truck. I will most likely purchase my powertrax in the next 3 months or so...(have to wait for this cold weather to pass).

I have went threw 2 of the powertrax lockers.. JUNK If you plan to drive on the road you will be squaling a tire every turn even at LOW speeds. The springs in them dont hold up... Getting ready to take one out again that was installed by pro's. I will be replacing with Oem parts and leave it alone... Been one heck of a head off experience. " 9.25 rear with 4.10 gears" stock ... Just going to get the baring kit and buy 2 new axels again and do it all myself this time.
