With there 3g? We have Fischer's at work I really like those But I would just use my truck for my driveway and camp and sisters house. I was looking at the SD series and also a few from sno way. Any input I know it can handle It

 

id like to have a plow on mine but being a dakota there known for weak front ends.

better off with a beater 4x4

 

I plow, but I use my 89 GMC.. Paid $1500 for it. Runs great and plow is in perfect running order.
I do not know the price of a plow system for our truck, but I would rather get a beater to plow with.

I have seen one 2005 Dakota in my town with a plow on it. All I can say is I would never put one on my truck. That front end was forced so far down they it could not be good for the front end. Now if you had a leveling kit installed the weight of the plow might bring the front down to exceptable levels. I know the truck manual says that our truck is not designed for plowing, but that is just legal **** they have to add to cover there a$$.

 

I've seen quite a few with plows I have a leveling kit and body lift. I wouldn't want to have to insure 2 trucks especially one ill need to dump money in if it dies on the way to camp. I've seen many v6 trucks plow I think it should all work? I hope lol

 

I wouldnt put a plow on one of these trucks. Reason #1: bad front end. I think that it would tear up the front suspension. #2 all though i havnt seen/ heard many people having issues with their transmissions and transfercases, Id imagine that it wouldnt be too good on those as well.

 

A light plow to do pers. stuff is O.K. Friend has one on a Frontier 2x4 and does his own drive. LOL his drive is about 35 feet long one lane. I suspect this is a toy because he has been retired for ever.

 

It says in the manual that no plow should be hooked up to this truck...

I don't think the front end can take it.

In addition, because the vehicle literature strickly forbids the use of a plow with this truck, any use of a plow voids your warranty entirely, from what I understand.

 

There is an 08 with a v-plow running around here.. i will get pic if i get a chance...

 

to make a buck, some people would put a plow on anything. Personally I would not hasten the demise of my ball joints/struts/tie rods/sway bar end links by burdening the front end with the additional weight of a plow.....especially on my daily driver.

 

Get an ATV and put a plow on that. No insurance and when it's not snowing you can still use it and have fun.
