If I get a new one, for sure. Im going tomorrow probably to see how much it will be to get all of my tail lights professionally tinted (Im not to confident in nightshade). Plus, Im really interested in doing color matched tinting which wouldnt be possible with any rattle can job.

 

Anybody figure out if the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen third brake lights are interchangeable?

 

They are, from 97-2011 should fit our trucks. Earlier years dont have the cargo lights in the third brake light, so if you want to ditch those you should be able to.

 

yeah but good luck finding one, every site I've been to is out of stock with no foreseeable restocking date. even the guy on ebay who claims "more than 10 available" refunded me with same excuse. the only ones I've seen available are the cheap chinese looking ones with only six red leds and twelve white cargo.(although the price is not cheap) If you find someone who has them in stock, post it.

 

It doesn't really matter anymore Bobby needs to stop spending money on his truck, and his dad told me to make sure to say NO every time he comes up with an idea lol
