Default 2008 4.7 questions

okay, I got a 2008 quadcab with a 4.7
Are only some of these flexfuel? Mine does not say it is nor does it have the flexfuel logo or gascap.
Also, is it okay to run 87 octane in these?
What kind of real average gas milage are you all seeing?

uhm...then its not flexfuel if it doesn't say it...you can run 87 octane thats not a problem lol and honestly with my mods and winter gas mix i'm honestly getting 11 MPG city but 17.13 mpg on the HWY at 75MPH on the highway on my trip so if i slowed down to 65 i'd more then likely be getting 18 but when summer comes around it'll be alot better!

Its only gonna get worse by summer it might be 5 bucks a gal. This is really gonna suck for me and anyone else who has a boat/jetski because its always +$1 on the water.

Mine is a flex fuel, and says nothing anywhere about it, I think it was in the dealer window sticker, I may be wrong, but almost positive all 08+ 4.7's are flex fuel

Flex fuel was offered on 07+ 4.7l Dakotas.

* Chrysler designates flexible
fuel vehicles with the last letter
of the 12 character Test Group
Name posted on the Vehicle
Emissions Control Information
label found under the hood.
Check to see if the last letter
falls within the following letter
groups: 1998-2008 models: P
through V and 2009,’10
models: A through F. (some
engine choices available only to
fleet buyers)

No, they are not. If you have an 08 or up and it is not designated on the vehicle, it is not flex-fuel capable.
