Default sneak peak for you 2wd guys

Well i finally got off my lazy a$# and scrapped my old control arms due to wrong angles i messed up on the first round, and took my front end apart to make some jigs. needless to say nothing went the way i wanted it to go. drill bit broke and the store didnt have any bigger than 1/2' and our hardware is all metric so its a **** hair bigger than 1/2" anyway!!! here is the length of the new 3" wider control arms well be expecting to see when my tax return comes in.

increases suspension travel, wider stance = better handling, all sorts of cool stuff.

extending control arms allows for a BIG increase in suspension travel without severely effecting the angles. they also do away with balljoints and use new joints called uniballs. which are good for about 35* of articulation which doesnt sound like alot but put along a "long lever" like a control arm. that number gets multiplied. for shocks i am running FOA reservoir bypass coilovers in the front. and FOA reservoir shocks in the rear with deaver leaf springs.

im not sure how much they are going to cost yet. i have a build sheet that i add all the cost of materials to as i go. and im building everything.

go on youtube and type in long travel ranger or trophy truck or prerunner or anything like that. youll see the stuff they can do

i dont off road my truck too much, but would the better handling and other things still be of benefit for on road? or would i even notice a difference on the highway
