Default mud/off road tires...or 20's and all terrains

IM wondering what tire package to run... grab some 16x8's and run knobby tires or go with a 20 in. rim and all terrains. Ill have the usual daystar kit and ranchos....mild wheeling...I go up to the snow to snowboard. other than that its my pavement pounder...would the mud tires be more harsh on the front end compared to the 20s?

thanks for the response...

Default ok

if you dont plan to use bodylift 265 75 16 is your bet and about streetability of a mud tire depend how aggressive they are:

Interco Superswampers TSL, LTB, IROK, BOGGERS very bad on street vibrale like hell at 60mph but best offroad 20 000km of life

radial mud noisy but good off road capacity procomp mud terrain xtreme terrain xtreme mt, mickey thompson baja claws mtz, dick cepek mud, crushers
40 000km
bf goodritch all terrain ant procomp all terrain best for street applications
very bad performance in mud offraoding but great in winter on street and legal

50 000km+

rim size is for look only

yea, Im thinking about 16x8 with thorns...I know everyone has their own oppinion about em...but I'd rather just find out for myself if theyre decent or not. 30x11x16 are perfect fit. OD: 30.8...its a cheaper route than the 20's package.

I love the look of big ol tire on 20's.... I have cooper zeon 305/50s on mine with just leveling and they just rub on the frame a bit at full turn, but they weren't a cheap date, but they do well offroad and are quite on the highway
