I took the chrome tubular steps off the truck. I didn't like the look it gave... it made it look too low. I spend 5hrs the other day during off time at the station and detailed the truck. Claybarred the entire truck and then paste waxed it. The interior was pretty clean but I made it better . Detailed the rims and engine. I have been super happy so far with it and I am looking forward to many dependable years of service. I cannot wait to spend a few hours doing the first of many services on it!

Yeah the mods are gonna come with time. The tires on it prolly have 5k or so left on them. I plan on a 2" levelling kit with the tires. When I do a tranny fluid service I am going to do the shiftkit. CAI and exhaust will prolly be last.

Nice! I love taking that first drive on a nice day after detailing a vehicle. When I bought my truck the interior wasn't all that clean. The dealer did a crappy job of cleaning it so I stripped the interior (seats out and down to the frames, carpet out, dash apart) and cleaned the S**t out of it. I haven't done the clay bar yet. What product did you use?

Love the black! I agree, the side steps arent the best for looks. If you have kids, I can see them, but other than that you shouldnt really need steps to get in to one of these trucks. Lol.
