Do any of you have any tips for unplugging the upstream oxygen sensor? They really tucked the plug way up there. I can kinda get 2 fingers on it, not sure I would plug the new back in if I can get the old one unplugged. Thanks!
Donkey was able to change his O2s on his V6 with no disassembly of the wheel wells, IIRC. Im not sure if he did OEM style where he needed the plug, or just snipped the wires for a universal. For the V8s you definetly do; I ended up returning my O2s and waiting for a nice summer day for those.
I cant remember, but cant you access these ones through the wheel well? I know atleast the passenger side you can.
No. The plug for the sensor runs up beside the engine, and there is about an inch to inch and half of clearance between the engine and a couple of steel lines. The plug is above the lines. I can get my fingers on it, just can't get it unplugged, and am afraid it would be hard to plug back in.

I stand corrected . Had front wheels of to do brakes today, and could see the plug and O2 sensor. Had more clearance, but will still be a tight fit. Didn't get a chance to change it, will try to do it this weekend.
