Not at all, you do need to find out where the oil is coming from? Is it still on the driver's side? I ask because we didn't touch anything on the driver's side. Before we can keep troubleshooting, we have to find out where the oil is leaking from?

i cant tell its all over the up againts the bottom of the fire wall. i looked at the driverside head, and i saw some drips. the front diff is covered. here is what i see on the driver side. the pic with the red box it looks like i could fit a screw driver head inbetween there. not sure if that gaps supposed to be there.you can clearly see the coil drips onto the header flange like it was on the passenger side 2 months ago. same spot.

He is saying he can actually see a gap in the driverside head big enough to stick a screwdriver in. So now he has a warped driver's side head and the passenger side is fine. Talk about bad luck.

Yes, and it doesn't cost that much. A local machine shop can do it for 75$, then he needs new head bolts, new gasket, etc. His problem is the time it would be down waiting for the machine shop as he is in school.

My vote was to
1. Search salvage yards for a low mileage replacement motor.
2. But a set of rebuilt heads, and resale the ones he has now after they are resurfaced.

hey billy wont it be easier to find a motor in omaha or around you instead of having to get it shipped/transported up there. i can prolly get someone to put it on a flatbed and tow it up there but i have no way of keeping a motor in my apt if i get one.

I will start calling Salvage yards tomorrow and see what I can find man. If you find one down there cheap, I will drive down there and haul it back to my garage for you. Tomorrow the search begins.
