So thats it will look like. Drew it all up in solidworks. It'll retain factory mounting and will solve the oil splashing and also be a stronger connection point for the lower control arms for my next "project"

ok just got done with the finishing touches. this is prototype 1. hella beefy. fully boxed and tube channeled. welds arent the prettiest because we were running short on time and neighbors dont like grinding and cutting at 3am.

thank you. we were trying to get the tig dialed in so its not as good as it could have been. but now we got the gas right so our aluminum and steel welds looks pretty

Im curious of something...this cross member look really good..but a square tubbing with capped end with 4 holes would do the same job no?
