The one in your pic mounts behind the OEM chrome grille. These inserts actually push forward and sit flush with the front of the grille. The are clipped in from the sides and I love the look of it.

See how it sits flush with the grille vice from behind?

Hey blown, quick question. How did you paint your ram emblem on your grille? Did you remove it or just tape and spray? If you removed it, how did you do it? lol ( so many ?'s)

Travis(Trucky) did that for me. He taped it off, sanded it and sprayed it with VHT night shade. I've even considered doing the badges on the back but I'm so far behind on projects right now, lol.

The HO motor has free floating piston wrist pings, dome shaped pistons and a forged crank. A great combo for running boost. I've been dropping money on my officer commission, i.e. uniforms, ceremony, reception but the huge pay increase is worth it. Once I save up some $ I'm going to buy an 06-07 HO motor and totally forge it after I bore it over .030 and make it a 4.8L.

Thanks Eric, it really turned out better than I imagined.

I bought flat black inserts off of eBay, and it looks similar to the Streetscene but mine are held in by tie wraps. This is the only pic I have that you can see the grille:
You bought grille inserts and had to hold them with straps?

Not even on my home made gutter grille i got tie straps on !!!!
