Default '05 Dakota w/4.7L V8 needed for Product Development @ AEM

I would like to thank Amanda for permission for posting this request on dodgeforums!

AEM (Advanced Engine Management) www.aempower.com, is looking for '05 Dodge Dakota with a 4.7L V8 engine to perform product development work on for a Brute Force air intake kit. It would be prefered that it be located in the Southern California area. The truck would be needed for approx. 2 weeks and the truck would be returned to the owner in the same condition we recieved it.

The vehicle owner will get a free air intake kit once a production version is finished. Also, rental car reimburstment is available for those who don't have alternative transportation already. For more information, please contact me.

phone: (310) 484-2322 x212
email: rhorn@aempower.com

You can also post here and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

your gonna borrow someones brand new $25,000 truck for two weeks....tear into the intake system and possibly the computer....then beat on it on the dyno and do this all over again time and time again until you find out what works...and all they get is a $25 your approx. mfg cost in free intake parts [sm=confused06.gif][sm=happy046.gif]

The window sticker only says, $21,500.....

Well, a dodge is much easier to come by than a H2 SUT and a H3 I'm looking for!
We actually had a Dodge SRT-10 in here for months, but the guy is rich and had many vehicles.

I know its difficult to think that someone would actually loan out their vehicle like that, but its not easy for us. I'm stuck in the middle, as I can't give more to the owner who lends the vehicle. I would like to give more compensation, but management wont allow it. So we are left to finding the rare breed of hardcore enthusiasts that are willing to sacrifice in order to assist us.
