Need Quick Response. Leveling kit: Diff tween coil spring and front strut kit?
Hey guys, I need to order my leveling kit today ASAP. There are two that I am looking at. One is labeled as a coil spring leveling kit and the other is labeled as a front strut spacer kit. Is there a difference? If so what? Also, this might sound dumb, but when adding a leveling kit, do you also need to get longer shocks? Thanks for the help!
Oh and one other thing in regards to rear blocks. Are the new blocks going to replace the stock blocks that are on the truck already or just go between. If you are replacing the stock blocks and are looking to add inches, do you have to consider the thickness of the stock ones (i.e. I want to raise the rear 1 inch higher, stock blocks are 1 inch, so I would need to order 2 inch blocks to compensate) Thanks guys!

ok one preload the spring and require disassembly of the strut and gonna ride a little stiffer
other one is the easy way bolt it on top of stock assembly
but its the good timming to remplace shocks if you are using stock ones still

I have mine in the coil since I like it a little rough
And it is stiff; trust me. I get about an inch of movement if I try to bounce the front end. But a stiff ride is a safe one. It prevents wear and is good for handling. Installing inside the strut will also prevent the lower arm from overextending.

A few members have the 2" Daystar leveling kit, which goes on top of the strut. It cost less than the Readylift kit, and free shipping.
There is not a longer shock required with either kit.
If you want to lift the rear 1", you need to get a 1" block. Nothing is replaced, you add what size that you want.
