what there talking about is a lead to turn on the radio because the radio uses the can bus system. what most guys do is just run the lead to a 12v source such as a cigarette lighter .

For about 100 more you can go with the mygig system. Ordered mines but havent got a chance to put it in yet but most guys say its a good upgrade, and gives a clean factory look

and if i got with the cheap harness its all good other then i have to run a 12volt wire to power. in as best buy they were saying that the airbags can go off and other crazy things lol

thats where it gets tricky for the preouts you'll need a lockpick and there roughly $200. but with the lockpick you'll be able to watch dvd in motion.

nope your just tap red into the cig lighter, orange/white dimmer to red acc out of radio.
i dont really see how tapping into your cigarette lighter will make the airbags go off. cheers for now

what is the lockpick? so normally you cant watch a dvd while your moving, but a lockpick "unlocks" that feature? Thats all the lockpick does? I'm looking at these mygigs, but I want to get everything I need at once....

it allows for dvd in motion and allows you to change nav address in motion, also has optional input/output cable you can add a backup cam. Also allows you video and stereo output AND input. and allows you to add the mic for voice recognition on nav radios
