Default 2006 Check Engine Light Code?

Did self diagnosis by holding in Trip Reset button and turning key to Run. Odomoter shows code of hr1289 but can't find that code in any of the lists. Anyone able to help with what that code means? Thanks!

The other odd thing is that before the check engine light came on, the radio wouldn't pick up any stations. The volume control worked and the Bass, Treble etc worked but no stations. I got to the pub, turned it off for a couple of hours, came back and the radio then worked but check engine light has been on ever since.

Is there some other way that I should be trying to get the codes? Tried unplugging the battery first. Then did the on-off cycle 3 times. Neither of those resulted in a code but the Trip Reset hold and Run did seem to result in a code. Maybe not?

I would try just disconnecting the battery for an hour or so to reset everything, or find an autozone or someone with an actual code reader.

ahh. those are cluster diagnostic trouble code, these aren't OBDII codes.
you'll have to contact dodge to see what they mean. Although, I don't believe the cluster test displays error codes that are usually accessed via a diagnostic scanning tool when troubleshooting engine problems or when the check engine light comes on.

First off, welcome to DF. Now that is most certainly a cluster code. Have seen one before on an 05 Durango. Couldn't remember what the numbers were, but I disconnected the battery for an hour and that didn't do anything.Had to take it to the dealer to have them flash the truck.. it was the only way. Good Luck!!
