I suggest black depending on how much your wheels show off the rear drum.
only because the rear drums are so huge on these trucks.

If these trucks came with disc breaks all the way around I was going to paint mine red like i did my vette.

but the wheels I have on my dakota expose to much of the drum. Eric did you paint your rear drums the same blue as you did your front calipers?

" Dupli Color" make a caliper/ drum paint in a couple different colors. just do a search for " Dupli Color" They make a lot of different color/ types of paint. You can buy it here at Canadian Tire stores. It's their bed liner paint I'm going to put on my home built bumper.

That is what i used on the vette and the dakota brakes/drums. The vette i painted with the calipers off beause i changed the pads. The dakota i painted with drums and calipers on since breaks where fine. Just tape off properly.

Thanks for the information. I like the idea of painting the fronts one color and the drums a different color. As soon as it warms up a little I'll be doing it.
