Default home made winch bumper

I built myself a bumper for my truck with help from pics from some of the people on this site. I know it's not finished yet, I still have to get some more metal to finish it up. It's all welded and I have to spend time grinding it down then paint. I plan on putting on Dupli colors bed liner later when it's warmer out. It's still a little cool and lots of rain here yet. I only have an open walled shop so it's a little damp to work in. I think it looks good, but will look better when painted.

Looks like you could bust through a brick wall with that bumper.

Not yet, it's a new motormaster { Canadian Tire brand} 8500 lb winch. I just got it mounted up Friday as I needed to drive my truck. Don't like to drive without a front bumper in case I hit something { **** happens} could be lots of fender damage, besides I think it's law here to have a front and back bumper.

Hey I just thought of something, with this bumper and winch the front end is heavyer so later on I'm thinking of putting in new struts/springs. I read on here about a brand that was stiffer than stock but I can't remember which one.
