Default finally installed my magnaflow

ok guys i had the time for it today. my buddy brought over his sawzall and i had a ton of extra 2.5 pipes from advance/autozone ready. i cut off the front resonator first and replaced it with a straight 18" pipe then cut off that unnecessary giant stock muffler. i used another straight 18" pipe to run run the magnaflow down before the curve in the pipe for the rear resonator. left the rear res in for the time being..i just added on my magnaflow tip which was chrome but i painted black. everything is held in place with clamps atm until i get it welded. only 1 leak and as long as the clamps hold in place until its welded, who cares? kinda rattles in the back so i gotta throw in another hanger. change in sound is mostly noticeable upon startup. nice deep groan to it. waiting for it to break in over the next couple weeks to reach full tone. will post a vid tomorrow since i upgraded my phone now

Getting my Magnaflow and tip installed this weekend!! Question though, heading to the parts store today and was wondering what size pipe to get. I keep hearing our stock pipes are 2.5". Is that I.D. or O.D.? What size should i get so that all i have to do is slip the new pipe over the old pipe and clamp it? By the way, I'm doing all this at a buddy's shop so I'll have access to a lift and not have to do all the work on my back in my garage. I'll post before and after vids of the install. Thanks guys!!

i got two 18 inch pipes for about $7 a piece. you need one to replace the resonator and then another to make up for the excess space between the new muffler and the rear piping since the original muffler is so beastly
