Had a chrome factory ram fuel door laying around decided to paint it flat black let me know what ya think.

How did i take what off. The factory painted one is just held in by 2 torx head bolts. The black one was a a/m oem part from dodge that i etched, primed and painted black. The flat black has a clearcoat with a mattenig agent in it so it wont get chalk like spray paint flat black which is basically lacquer paint.

I can't figure how to get my fuel door off? you just unscrew the torx bolts and maneuver it out?

 

yeah it just comes rt off not sure what to tell you 2 torx and twist the arm and presto.

It looks ok but not my style, black and chrome is mote me. Looks good on your truck.

 

I had changed mine over to a black one that was from somebodys black dak. that was one of the first things i did since i got the fuel door for $6shipped to my door on ebay. LOL also the same color truck too.

what year ram is that off of?
