I have a 2006 4.7 6 speed manual. I love it! I didn't realize how rare they are though. I found mine in Idaho. I don't understand why they don't offer a manual any more... Well I guess with the rare statement it makes some sense.

its cause this new generation of people that are starting to drive now cant handle a clutch.

My cousin is just starting to learn how to drive. Bought a 99 S10 with a stick. He has had the truck 6 months and just with him practicing in the lawn he needs a new clutch... LOL

Stick shift should be a skill learned in drivers ed. You learn so many thing about how a car works, and I feel it makes a better driver. My first truck was stick, and I always had to pay attention while driving. It wasnt possible to text or eat a McChicken like it is with an automatic.
