Default Bed Cover

Hey guys,

I was lookig into buying a bed cover for my truck. It can't be a hardshell because i have to be able to open up half of it so my dog can ride with me, plus so i have to be able to get my kayaks in there.

I found one that looks retty good, and you can even see a video on the link.

What can you guys tell me from experience about these covers?

I have the Truxedo Truxport roll up soft cover, very happy with it. Some pics in this thread. Had 28 inches of snow on it, no problem at all.

thats way too much coin for me. I spent less than $200 for an extang blackmax. I love it. It really depends on what you want the cover to do. Protect cargo? Lockable? Waterproof? None of that mattered to me, I just wanted to cover the box, so I went cheapest I could find but that still had good reviews. Read reviews on these things cause there are a ton out there.

Just remember you pay for what you get. If you will be in and out of your truck bed then that is a good buy. I paid 800.00 for my truxedo plus cover.

I picked up the BakFlip G2 for about a $169 less shipped and I love it. Also it doesn't sit up like the Extang Solid Fold it sits flush.

For me I wanted something solid that someone or something couldn't rip through it. Also something I could lock up using the tailgate and know that it's fairly safe to keep stuff in the back.

I actually saw another BakFlip G2 this weekend on a F150 and I have to say it looks good on any truck it's installed on.

Good Luck.
