Default My speedometer is going crazy

My speedometer randomly bounces around and my brake and abs brake lights come on when it happens. Any ideas what's causing this?

i would say first off get a reader so u can read ur engine code that should say what the problem/ problems there are. if not go to an advance they give free engine light test to tell u what it is. but having ur own is better.

Hmm...Are you also loosing your heater controls at the same time?
If so, I am going to guess your TIPM is going..
If not, It could be your cluster/ pinched wire(s)..did you have your dash apart lately?

Get your code read and go from there...really hard to guess!

Your truck is using Morse code, it is saying PUNCH IT BATMAN! You can always try checking the battery connection, or disconnecting the battery overnight.

I've seen this before. Pop your hood and check your PCM and your wires running through the firewall. Check to ensure they are dry and the insulation is not exposed. A couple years back I forgot to turn my radiator cap to lock and it sprayed my engine bay with coolant. The PCM got wet (soaked actually) and did the exact thing yours is doing.

In addition to all that, pull and reseat the fuse to the guage panel. I fixed an Avalon with a similar problem this way. When I pulled the fuse, and put it back in, it did a guage test and all was well.
