satisfied with the way my engines running but kind of disappointed with the bumpy stock ride lately..what are some decent, affordable suspension mods you guys are running? i plan on putting monroe reflexs for the rear shocks soon but how about up front?

Not many choices for the front struts:

Rancho: Top of the line, roughest ride.
Monroe: Good strut, softer than Rancho
KYB: I've heard they are junk
Factory: They are confirmed to be junk

Is there a stiffer coil we can put in?

The Rancho Struts with a 1.5" spacer inside the coil gives a nice stiff ride. If you want the truck to handle bumpy terrain well, you can pull off the front sway bar. It creates more body roll, but its not too bad. Instead of being able to take the curved on ramp by my house at 90, I have to keep it down at 60

haha i bet stripping off the sway bar does make the ride more interesting! I'm going to start with the reflex's in the rear when i get my tax returns since obviously the rears are much less of a headache than front struts. I know that the stock struts suck anyways but think i need the rears replaced more right now anyways. When I am in a parking garage for example, such as at the mall, my truck will bounce up and down like crazy. On a regular shock test you press down on the body and the vehicle should not bounce more than twice..three times at the max

Our rear shocks really aren't bad. Its the fronts that are in need of good ol' country boy azz-whoopin'.

I've got the monroe sensatrac struts up front and their load leveling rear shocks in back and it has made the truck drive much much better.
