Pretty much. We got rid of the inner ball and socket under the boot and replaced with a "fork" clevis if you will. Which holds the inner Heim joint.

OK, thanks for the info, I can picture the inner joint end, I assume you used something like a small piston clevis and mounted the heim on the "pin"
