Default Grill

Anyone ever put one of these in? If so is it easy to install & I'd like to see pics of some Dakotas with this grill.

Ueland used to have one installed on his truck. His started chipping real bad so he took it off. I've taken my grill off several times. If you can turn a wrench you can installl this grill. There are six 8 or 10mm screws holding the grill frame to the hood then 6 or 7 nuts holding the upper part of the grill to the hood. Pretty easy.

I put one of these on about a month after I got my truck, I did it in the freezing cold when it was snowing so It isnt that hard, my bolt were just rusty to.
I picked up some thin weather stripping to put between the grille and hood to keep it from scratching, the stock one has a rubber sealant it looks like to keep it from scratching
Timestamp is wrong, lol

I checked the link and it looks like you replace the entire grill and not just the inserts, and the one in the link is black.

First question: How do you guys think it would look if your truck if it is dark grey and not black?

Second question: How hard do you think it would be to paint it to color match?

Third and final question: Seeing as how from the front of the truck when you look straight on you can see through pretty easy to the radiator, any of you think it would be kinda cool to maybe paint a stencil of something (i.e. punisher logo, ram logo, sharp teeth, etc.)?

I wanted to get one of these and put three lights behind the grill side by side. Thats the only way I would like it because looks kinda bare by itself. Got a bull bar on the way now so not going to do it but somebody on here should!

that would be sweet I think that the punisher logo might look good in red on the radiator.

I bought black radiator paint from Eastwood that worked well for blacking out the silver rad.
