Hmm, is this a used pull, or a rebuild? Why do those heads look "newer" than the rest? Where is the harmonic balancer?

Just being overly critical to point it out, not to bust your stones (you had enough of that already!)

it was a pulled motor with ~67k miles. yeah the heads do look new, i dunno why. not sure where the crank pully is but i assume i can use mine.

im going to check on the VC bolt. the motor is not with me but at a friends shop so I gotta wait till he can do it.

maybe those heads were send by the original ownwer for a radicall head porting job..you never know!!!

Dude, I am pretty sure the balancers are different from the non HO to the HO motors..
I would seriously check it over well...they may have just slapped HO heads on a non-HO motor...Make sure it has HO cams as well.

After all you have been through, do the legwork BEFORE putting in in your truck!

rock auto lists the parts as the same between the jeep ho and my 01. its only 36 bucks so if i need one no biggie.
