Hey guys with the trail master 1.5 inch kit, what is the biggest tire size we can get on the chrome clad 17 inch wheels.

Most guys need to trim, so the question is how much are you willing to trim out of the wheel well and mud flap for bigger tires? Or do you want no trimming at all?

I would say 265/70/17, and there will probably be some trimming of the front splash guards and / or wheel well liner involved.

When you say trimming do you mean like making holes to the wheel well?

If your tire is just slightly oversized, normally you will just have to trim the front of the mudflap and remove the plastic so it cant rub on the tire. If you start going larger, you have to cut the plasic wheel well all the way across the back of the wheel. And if you really want to go extreme, you may have to space the front bumper forward. There are some examples that can be seen of the trimming on other threads.

This will give you a good idea, here is what I trimmed to fit my tires.

-The Green is the area that I trimmed off of the front splash guards.
-The Yellow is the area that I trimmed off of the front wheel well liners. It is an oval shaped cut.

lol maybe..but the story is that i started with very minor trimming...still rub...so i went some were to perform maximum flex possible and mark rubbing with a pen. still rub so same story again and again again..etc now is rub just a litte on the sheet metal when i am flexing to maximum and hitting a bump...

first i wanted to remove less as possible!!! but thats the final resault if you are using 33 11,5 16 with 0 offset im sure you have to to the same trimming as me...man there is as much time trimming this fender again and again and again than it took to perform de lift...i sand it smoooth 320g each time
