Just finished Efan conversion

I want to do this mod so bad. I really hate the rev lag from that stock fan. But my first mod has to be putting in an LSD before next winter. Wasn't too impressed with my 2wd traction. Never had an open diff w/o 4wd.
Please report back with your MPG findings, maybe I can convince the wifeypoo of the benefits haha.

I think that the fan bolt after you got the pulley secured loosens backwards.
Remember "lefty-loosy, righty-tighty" if i remember correctly in the fan is "left-tight and right-loose" . Or is the other way around ?

There is a stud that sticks out right above the pulley that the fan is attached to. You grab the pulley with the vice grips and they will butt up against the stud, allowing you to turn the nut.

Nope, the fan bolt is threaded normally, lefty loosey, we realized that after thinking the opposite for a bit lol.

The engine doesnt spin up as quick and has kind of a delay when you hit the gas, its especially noticeable when taking off from a stop and accelerating.

Question guys? The way I have mine hooked up right now, the fan will stay powered even after the truck is off as its hooked righ to the battery. What fuse in the fuse box under the hood only has power when the truck is running?

If your talking about a trigger wire, hook it to the heated seat fuse. its only active when the truck is in the "on/run" position. so you can still turn it to the "acc" position and listen to the radio without the fan spinning.

are you talking about a "trigger wire" or are you talking about the main power feed.
If your talking about a trigger wire, hook it to the heated seat fuse. its only active when the truck is in the "on/run" position. so you can still turn it to the "acc" position and listen to the radio without the fan spinning.
