You should be able to put set of offroading lights on the high beam switch if you want to. Find the wire on the harness and run the high wattage lights off of a relay from the battery.

I have a 5000k kit from V-leds.com on my truck and it's high and low beams, they work great. I'll see if I can find some pics of them on though.

I put my ballasts on the inner wheel well right behind the headlight housing. All I used was about 5 pieces of 3M double sided tape to mount them. No problems so far and its been about a month since the install.

i just zip tied the ballasts to a wire up behind the headlight. although i think your front end is different than mine with the updated look. i just put them as far back as i could to pull the wires tighter because they make it a royal pain in the *** to get the headlight back in.

dont worry, the 05-07 headlights are a double royal pain to get on and off...the least they could have done was put captive screws on the mountings. I end up using electrical tape to tape the screws onto the torx head socket to get them started.

on my headlights, i got a bolt on the inside of the hood thats easy to get at. then i got two underneath the headlight that i have to push down on the bumper as hard as i can to get a socket wrench in there. i have to do that two times. then theres a metal ball that goes into a plastic receiving part thats in a metal bracket. you have to take a slot screw driver with a soft cloth then pry that thing out of there. takes me like a good 45 minutes to get the damn things out.
