Default Picked up the new (to me) Dakota

2010 Bighorn. V8, 2WD, 3.92:1 Positraction, all tow options. Mango Tango Pearl. 6 way adjustable driver's seat, optional airbags, 4 wheel ABS, sliding rear window, factory extra dark tint, bed rail system, 18" tires and wheels. 2,818 miles. We flew from Ohio on Friday the 8th to pick it up at a dealership in Pensacola, FL. The trip evolved into a mini vacation on the Gulf shore.

Got the Superchips tuner. I liked the 87 octane tune, really helped with the shifts. The economy tune sucks, I lost 2 MPG! With the 87 tune I got 20 MPG @ 72 MPH.

We ate well, checked out Orange Beach, FL and Gulf Shores, AL. Both are a little too commercial/party vibe for us. One thing: Royal Red Shrimp. If you don't know, learn. We took the ferry from Gulf Shores to Dauphin Island, AL, and fell in love. I think we found the retirement location. DI is very layed back, quiet and family oriented.

Tuner will work better w/ a CAI and high flow cat and muffler. Plus, ur truck would sound badass! Love the truck and color too!

Try the high octane tune before gas hits $5 a gallon, it's a lot of fun

BTW, love the truck. Wish mine had those wheels.
