Default How is your Monday going? (Hi-potek, SCT, Bluetooth OD2)

Hope everyone' Monday is going well. I just got home and found two boxes at my door. One was an SCT Tuner for my Raider (it does work BTW) and the new throttle body from Hi-potek was there too. I also had my XR7 bluetooth OBD2 adaptor for my Android phone in the mailbox.

I've installed the SCT Tuner. I wasn't really sure if it would work since it is for a Dakota, but Sean (hemifever) found my PCM PN in his system and told me, "if it will read, it will flash". He was right! Pretty nerve wrecking watching it copy, then checking, then flashing and it saying everything went fine, but it did. I took it for a test drive, but my butt dyno has never been very efficient. How exactly do I turn off Torque Management? Is it already in the tune? Will my Sonnax cause issues or be redundant with it off?

I also got my throttle body, but I probably won't be able to install and test until tomorrow.

*EDIT*

So I tried to take off my throttlebody but for the life of me I couldn't get the IAC off. Do I just pull it pops off?

Just grab firmly and pull on the metal part; dont grab the plastic. It will come off. There should be a little knotch that you can pry it back with a small screw driver if you need to.

Congrats on the new mods. Im debating whether to order a new throttle body, or send my Nighrunners in to get smoked. Its a hard decision.

Thanks rengnath. I could get it to move but I didn't want to pull that hard. Everything else was a snap.

If you can get it to move, youre good to go. Try spinning it (either direction) when you are trying to remove it, and that should help it. You are working against an o-ring that is wedged beween the throttle body and the sensor.

let us know if the tb affects the shifting. I have the hypotek and my tm values are around 2-4% and i can hardly tell anything. Ueland seems to think it has something to do with the bored out tb.

I also have a Sonnax, but I'll let you know if I feel anything different.

SCT doesnt tune the trans, but they can tune the torque management since it isnt part of the transmission.
