dont egg me on! haha; at 500mi i will pick up the throttle a bit. its a brand new rebuilt motor not a salvage as i thought.

Oh yeah, take it easy and make sure you do a short oil change the first time as well while breaking it in. Rebuilt may be better than a salvage though, its like a clean slate

the VC gasket looked great. the passanger side HG looked great. the cylinder walls were perfect. i dont see any warp in the heads. mystery oil leak i guess.

well 500miles down and i did several WOT runs. its definelty an HO but i was expecting huge gains over my old ho cams mod. dont get me wrong the full ho feels better, sounds better and pulls harder. I am happy with the HO, getting my o2 sensor bung welded in tmw so i can get a decent tune on it now! i know my custom tune will REALLY set me apart from my old motor in terms of hp.
