This makes sense to me. Looks like another HO cams swap in the works? That really sucks though if that's the case. When you buy a HO motor you expect it to be an actual HO motor not some or mostly HO and then some stock parts. Good luck Thunder getting to the bottom of this.

that would suck if they bolted ho heads on a non ho block, did you get a build sheet, you said it was a rebuilt, not a salvage

no build sheet. invoice says HO. they still claim its a salvage but thats a lie.
i have trouble breaking tires loose in the wet. that was never a issue when i had cams. going in at 2 to check with a borescope. the guy that did the install said compression ratios was the same as the standard.

the upper rpms seem decent b.c of the intake manifold and heads. nothing lowend though. they even marked on the VC that its from a cherokee. i hope it just needs more break in to feel full effects of the HO. i dunno. i will know more at 2.

so got back from the shop. they hard a hard time telling the difference but they let me see. the pistons didnt looked flat topped. there was a recessed part in the center we determined it was domed.

well thats good but my next step if i was you would be to mic the cams in the truck now and check them against your knowen h.o. cams cause they may have installed stock cams during the pulling of a "salvaged" motor

Seems like it should at least be a little quicker. Like the others stated, the last two videos seem dead even 0-60. For the matter all three seemed very similar but I thought the second was the fastest. I don't know man. I don't think it would need to be broken in, it's a salvaged motor with around 60k on it right?
