05 Dakota Price
Well I've got a potential buyer for my Dakota. We agreed on $10k.
Here's my concern: did I sell too low? The trucks in great shape. It's the quad cab, SLT, power everything, tow package and bed liner. It has navigation (though I know this adds nothing to the price.) 97k miles.
Kbb says about $11,500 private party in good condition. I had difficulty getting 10k, and this is the first person to even show interest in my truck since I listed it several months ago.

as long as you tell him (or her) they have to join this site, then it is a good price...seriously, only you know if it was a good price. If you feel good about it, then it was. If you feel ripped off then it wasn't. Nice to know that a 6 year old truck with almost 100k on it can fetch 5 digit prices.

You also have to remember the market right now (gas prices are only expected to go up in the future).
Hell, I would walk away from my truck for anything more thank $9k and I have 120k. The truck is in beautiful shape and everything works. Im trying to hold out until its paid off though. Less than $7k to go

I just paid $14.3 for a 2005 Club Cab 4x4 (4.7 V8) with 36K miles. It has an A.R.E. handyman-style topper with toolboxes and a "BedSlider" (like this).
I'm pretty sure this vehicle was leased to a fire company and spent most of its life sitting still, waiting to respond to emergencies.
