I've had that one for more than a year now. I don't think it can even be considered a "cold air intake," since it has no heat shield around it. It sounds nice, but the air temp sensor barely makes the hole, and often falls out. Also a couple times the actual filter itself has just fallen off. Something like that could be extremely dangerous.
Honestly, if I were to do it again, I'dspend the extra $$$ on a legit K&N.

I've been running that same one for a week now. Now for the $40 I spent on it I think its great. Its no $300 K&N setup but for the money its a great deal. Its made of aluminum pipe and not plastic. You have to make your own mounting setup but no big deal really. You do have to check the hose clamps and boots every so often and tighten them up or it comes undone, but I'm use to owning an old muscle car where you have to make a weekly check of hoses and clamps and fluid levels so it doesn't bother me. I havnt had the AIT sensor fall out at all but I am trying to figure out a better holding solution than the supplied rubber grommet. It sounds great, throttle response is much better than with the OEM intake. And if you want to have a true 'cold air' setup you just have to make a heat shield for the filter. All in all its a great deal for the price. I coated mine with a 'black chrome' coating and it looks great.
i have one of those hanging in my shop right now. nothing wrong with it but when its on my truck all the torque goes bye bye. it does sound nice but i don't think its worth the loss in performance. and it does fall apart every now and then. i usually used a big zip tie and zip ties it to the coolant tubes that run across the top of the motor. but the hose clamps on the tb would always come loose.

Why not just bead the ends of the pipe?
here is what I did to the intercooler pipes on the talon.

you wont lose clamps off the ends of the pipe that way. also, using T-clamps instead of worm gear clamps will help too.
