Nope, not a crappy aim industries lift.... Oh trust me, I've done my research, and have gone through putting back my friends crappie made lift kits on the side of the highway in the desert.... I know what holds up, and what fails under abuse.... Well atleast from what I've dealt with and seen...
Its a lift made by doetsch shocks.... I live in east county san Diego, and the factory and headquarters is about 10 min from my house, and a really cool shop wants to help me out and get me lifted... No bulls#%^ like the jack my ride miss hap. This is all being done with plenty of paper work involved, and no shady under the table bs... It's at an established shop in el cajon, ca.
Not only are the parts warranties, but the work is guaranteed with it...

Don't get me wrong, I'm probably going to have to spend close to 2,000 once all is said and done...... But this just so happens to be one of those mods that's worth it to me

Thanks for the support everyone
Assuming this works out I hope maybe people will be able to get this done for them.
I talked to the guys again today, and they're talking about potentially trying out using either king or fox if there's parts available without too much fab work, they want me to beat the hell out of it so they can test out different set ups and get reviews for possible future production, and have an idea of what will be the best setups for fellow 3rd gen Dakota owners. I'm really hoping this works out, I'll have a parts list and configuration of the new set up some time Monday, so expect to hear from me then.

good thing about this company....is theyre actually involved in the off road RACE scene along with camburg and total chaos...unlike other companies that just make road queen lifts.

from the looks of their older dakota lifts. its pretty much a higher quality AIM lift...and with better customer service. oh.....and its for 2wd only. (the older dakota lifts they make are)

I dont see them doing anything other than what they normally sell. so they are most likely using ball joints on the uppers. which isnt bad. but dont expect the 60 degrees of flex a uniball can do. and like most kits, stock wheels and certain offset rims wont work....oh wait just read...balljoints sold separately.

I really cant wait to see the parts list they release. im hoping that it will accommodate the 4by guys as well as implement binding issues with every other joint on the front end.

not bad i just hope it will have the uniball option limit strap and 934 cv joints and the upper is not ajustable and add a leaf feel too stiff

ask for traction bars option for the rear if you are a desert guy

Yeah, I just gotta say, this guys speaks with language suspicously like that desert rat guy, you know, the one that was all about the lift kit who was it Jack My Ride was gonna make, got a half baked kit installed, and then disappeared. Hmmm, Ill believe it when I see, it, but I still think that for everyone, the best way to go is solid axle dana 44 hi pinion.

BTW, the dak is on the lift today, we started cutting some things yesterday, depenging on how much time I have in the coming weeks with work and getting ready to go sharking, I hope to have a full DIY post, with parts list, numbers, average cost, time to build, and maybe even some helpful advice when it comes to putting it all together.

So far so good, the weeks of planning have paid off a thousand fold. Meaurements are matching up perfectly, things are fitting. Its a thing of beauty...

doubt it will have a uniball option because 90% of the guys dont want to drill their spindles. limit strap would require welding to the frame which their kit is bolt on, so that would probably be a no. and still noone knows which cv joint fits our truck lol. and why would you NOT want an adjustable upper? thats just asking for alignment trouble.

and desert guys dont like trac bars because it limits our travel while binding. Im sure doetsch knows whats up and well see exactly what they come out with as a parts list. but i just want to clarify as much as i can for people before they go out and spend money on parts that either wont work or wont do as much good as they do bad.

Alright so here's the parts list....
-2 front bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks( adjustable ride height, at the mid point setting on the shock adjustment it will be a 3 inch lift for the front)
-2 rear bilstien 5100 series
-2" lift add a leaf packs

The fab work will be the front shocks being made to fit a flecks mount which is what's on the newer Dakotas..
