Default Jack help

I can't seem to remove the jack from underneath the seat of my 2006 dodge dakota quad cab. I got it used about 3 years ago and starting to think the previous owner put the jack back in wrong.

On my car once the jack goes under the seat I jack it up a little so that it doesn't shake around in there while I'm driving. When Im going to take it out I have to bleed the jack so it can come down and fit through the opening.

Previous owner might have done the same thing. Make sure the jack has not been lifted a bit once it was put in there.

Yeah, you need to spin the jack down a bit, use that white piece that is attached in your third picture. It should then slide right out toward the drivers side.

Yup, dont be afraid to give that white tab a little force. My jack was and is again, jacked up slightly so it cant shake around behind the seat.
