Default Got me thinking...

So yesterday, i went on my first Jeep ride with my dad and his jeep. it was a go topless ride that was supporting the wounded warriors project. We started in Indiana, PA and drove down to Somerset county and down to the memorial of Flight 93. We had a 92 jeep convoy. It was pretty awesome. It really got me to start thinking about selling my Dak and trying to find a Jeep instead. A couple reason are because the much higher support for aftermarket parts and the community and the things jeep owners do. I have a 2006 yellow Dakota quad cab. has 38,000 and some odd miles on it, has brand new tires, just got inspected and had a tie rod replaced, has stainless steel dual exhaust on it and runs great. Has the 4.7L V8 automatic and 4wd. How much do you guys think I could get for it? KBB lists it at around $13,000. I would be happy with anything between $10k-13k. What do you guys think? Anyone interested or you know anyone interested? If you want more detail on the truck just ask.

If you want it gone fast, id list it for 12k. If you want to hold out, you shouldn't have a problem getting 13k from the right buyer. Its low miles and all the options and the color should attract buyers. I wish my truck was yellow

If you're not in a hurry, screw KBB pricing. You are sporting some low miles and if you have kept it clean and in good shape, buyers love that stuff. Especially if it's an SLT which came with nice standard equipment packages, and 4x4's always hold a good value in snowey, mountainuos areas like Pa. I would start at 15 or 16K and stand my ground, if you're not in a hurry.

Look through the classifieds and dealer ads for what Dakotas are selling at in your area too. Vehicle pricing can change quite a bit depending on your location. With low miles and those options you can probably get more for it than most of the used Dakotas near you but knowing what those are at is a good place to start.
