Axle/axle shafts cause vibration?
Most of the people who have the permanent vibration problem are seeing it at all times when cruising down the road with no brakes applied. It will feel like it is going through the seat bottom, seat back, floor, dash, console, etc. Real PITA.
Sadly, I would suggest living with it and saving your money until you can trade it in as that seems to be the cheapest and most guaranteed way out of this mess.
Next up was to swap the torque converter/trans. I cut the bleeding at that point.
One good thing I can say is the truck has only let me down once. Thats when the OEM battery failed last year.
Has anyone here that still has the issue tried replacing their u joints? I know one or two of you said you had them inspected - not sure that is good enough. I am not a mechanic and I do not think I know enough about their field to question their abilities but I had a similiar issue and I checked my u joints - no movement. I mentioned it to my mechanic and he said you can't always tell that way. The best way is to take the driveshaft off and check them.
I decided to just buy the joints $25.00 and replace them. Only when I got the driveshaft off did I notice that one bearing cap was missing all the needles and dryer than a boot. Truck has no vibration now.

My vibration has actually gotten significantly worse the last couple of weeks. It is much stronger and does not go away at certain speeds like it used to. Pretty much 65+ is pretty bad. Now it comes through the steering wheel as well as the seat, floor, console, door, etc.
I also seem to be having another misfire issue, the idle is getting rough but has not set a check engine light as of yet. Last time I had a misfire, they had to replace the cylinder head in accordance with a TSB for these engines and burning/dropping valves. Hopefully its not that again.

I got new tires installed and my vibration was reduced, but didn't go away. Rebalanced twice and re-torqued the wheels twice and now it is worse. I feel like I am chasing wild goose that doesn't want to be found >

Warped rims maybe? Tire pressure? I have a slow leak in one, and when the pressure gets a few pounds lower than the other tire, it vibrates. Balancing the pressure eliminates it. Just some ideas. My Gen 2 kept bending drivelines. That was fun.
